NLE Media Productions on the Road - “Friday Harbor”

Back in the late ’50s there was a cowboy show on the tube called, “Have Gun Will Travel”.  It was about an erstwhile hired gun, who traveled the West making justice happen for the highest bidder–as far as I could remember.

I don’t have a gun, but as a freelancer my cameras and I pretty much hit the road for the highest bidder.  Now that my children have grown and moved on, that would make my wife, Carol, the highest bidder.  We have started traveling and take the gear wherever we go.  Our plans include visiting the Grand Canyon, touring the U.S. and eventually, travelling to Ireland and Italy.  We hope to produce some nice documentary footage along the way and learn about small business wherever our travels take us.

This Memorial Day weekend we spent some time touring Friday Harbor.  It was a charming place to spend a quiet afternoon.  Here is a short slideshow of the day:  Friday Harbor

When you put together a meeting schedule like the Small Business Forum, you never know exactly what to expect.  You send out invitations, e-mail reminders and try to annoy as many people as possible.  Frankly, I was afraid from the responses that I received the day before that there wasn’t going to be enough room or poundcake to serve.  Thankfully, it rained Friday and only a few folks showed up.  I was glad because it was a little nerve wracking launching this first forum.

We had a good time and shot plenty of footage for the blog.  I have broken the footage into 5 categories.  Enjoy.
