African American Hunting Association - Donny Adair

Posted in Entrepreneuers, 2008 by Administrator on the May 5th, 2008

I was first introduced to Donny Adair at the 22nd Annual Tribute to the Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. celebration held at the Highland Community Church facilities in January of 2007.  Donny had several roles in the program not the least of which was interviewing various dignataries and persons of interest.  (see video)

Once you meet Donny it is hard not to be enthusiastic about whatever he is discussing.  Donny is a dynamic speaker sought after for his unique skills in the field of public speaking.  He is also a devout family man, dedicated to his wife and children, his neighborhood and his country.  But he is more than that.  He is an avid outdoorsman steeped in the knowledge of hunting, fishing, camping - you name it.  And, he is a person of such character that he has set out in a new venture to share his love of the outdoors with all.

That’s why he launched The African American Hunting Association, LLC this year and is currently building a website dedicated to that end.  His signature logo (above) was designed to show the link between our urban and recreational nature.  His mission statement says it best:

The mission of the African American Hunting Association, LLC (AAHA) is to increase the number of African Americans and urban residents living in the United States involved in hunting, game management, shooting sports and conservation.
You can read more about Donny and his organization at:  www.africanamericanhuntingassociation.com

This is an exciting endeavor Donny has begun and we wish him every success.
